The Stonehouse War Memorial was dedicated on August 14th 1919.
Originally the names were carved into the stone but in 1932 the bronze plaques were put on because the carvings were deteriorating.
There are 51 names of men who died in World War One in alphabetical order around the cross.
These names are:
