STONEHOUSE ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL CLUB Ltd.

SEASON 1919-20   

Captain of the Stonehouse Football team in 1919 was E. E. “Tommy” Perkins. He served in the Machine Gun Corps in the First World War fighting against the Turks in Palestine. While there he was awarded the Military Medal for gallantry in action against them.

WINNERS - GLOUCESTERSHIRE NORTHERN SENIOR LEAGUE - GLOUCESTERSHIRE NORTHERN SENIOR AMATEUR CUP -  RUNNERS UP - BRISTOL CHARITY LEAGUE.

This special signed and framed Stonehouse Association Football Club photograph was kindly loaned to us by Janet Hudson, it was presented to her grand father-in-law Mr Norman W Hudson and inscribed - Presented to Mr N W Hudson by Stonehouse A.F.C. on the occasion of the club winning the “Double” and in recognition of his services as treasurer.
